Employment Series: Hands-on session using C# .Net Core Part 4 of 6 (.net core 2.2 – 3.0).

The Employment Series are foundation and informational classes for people who are unemployed/under-employed/looking for a new career. They are hidden gems of information that employers want and employees need to know.

In six (6) 1.5 hr sessions we will learn key aspects of .net core C# that employers want:
– parallel design patterns (async/await)
– dependency injection
– ASP.net MVC (helpers, action filters, etc)
– restful services APIs (xml/json/swagger)
– performance tuning
– layered application design
– single responsibility principle (SRP)
– automated unit testing
– visual studio online and azure devops

This session is open to all skill sets and experience. Limited to 8 attendees – RSVP.

Each session is unique and builds upon the next.

We will cover all the content outlined over the six sessions. Because we will move at the teams pace we can’t say what specific topics will or won’t be covered during each session.

Each Mini-bootcamps (classes) is held on either Tuesday or Wednesday from 7pm to 8:30pm EST. Hardware (raspberry pi terminals) are available if you forget or don’t want to use your laptop.

Topics will vary week to week with an emphasis on using technology to enable entrepreneurs, unemployed, under-employed and those seeking new careers. Again, these are 100% hands-on in-person instructor led (mini) boot camps.
